Jaromír Jágr.

Jaromír Jágr is a Czech ice hockey player. He has made the most goals, assists and points of all European players in the NHL.

Jaromír Jágr was born in Kladno in Czechoslovakia. His playing number is 68 in honor of the Czechoslovakia´s uprising in 1968.

NHL-career:

- Pittsburgh Penguins: seasons 1990-2001.
- Washington Capitals: seasons 2001-2004.
- New York Rangers: seasons 2004-2008.

In Pittsburgh Jaromír Jágr playied with such players as Mario Lemieux, Paul Coffey, Tom Barrasso, Ron Francis and Mark Recchi. Jaromír Jágr played in Pittsburgh mostly in the line with Ron Francis and Petr Nedved. The 1995-96 season was particularly impressive both for Jaromir Jágr and Mario Lemieux. Jaromír Jágr scored 62 goals and 87 assists in 82 games, totalt 149 points. Mario Lemieux scored 69 goals and 92 assists in 70 games, totalt 161 points.

Jaromír Jágr´s career stalled during his tenure in the Washington Capitals.

Jaromír Jágrs career got a new rise in the New York Rangers where he played in the same line with Martin Straka and Michael Nylander. In the 2005-06 season Jaromír Jágr scored 54 goals and 69 assists in 82 games, totalt 123 points.

During his NHL career Jaromír Jágr has played 1272 games and scored 646 goals and 953 assists, totalt 1599 points.

Jaromír Jágr won Olympic gold medal in Nagano in 1998, and the World Championship gold medal in 2005 and 2010.
